Site work for a civil project in Houston, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; and road / highway.
It is the responsibility of the Contractor bidding the project to ensure the accuracy of the reproduction of all Bid Documents and Construction Drawings. This includes, but is not limited to, proper scaling, paper width and length, etc. Failure to do so may result in errors in the Unit Bid Quantities and/or Bid Amounts. Project scope shall include the installation of 1,420 LF of 2- 12 PVC waterline; 1,060 LF of 18 PVC gravity sanitary sewer; 40 LF of 24- 36 RCP storm sewer; and 1,100 LF of 4x3 - 7x7 RCB storm sewer. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond and a payment bond each in the sum of 100 percent of the Contract Price. The successful bidder must also provide a two-year (2) Maintenance Bond for one hundred (100) percent. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashiers check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent (2%) of the total amount Bid, The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid.
