Renovation of a parking garage in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a parking garage.
1.1 The project is at the Greater Cleveland Regional Transit Authoritys (GCRTA) Triskett Bus Garage at 135405 Lakewood Heights Blvd., Cleveland, OH 44107. The Scope of Work is as described below. This project shall include all labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the job in a workmanlike manner consistent with recognized good practice and latest building codes requirements. A. The Scope of Work shall include but is not limited to: 1. Replacement of two Albany model PLC overhead doors on the north end of the garage, facing Lakewood Heights Blvd. Specifically, doors 2-3 and 6-7 (two wide doors) on the drawings. 2. Replacement of these two doors with high speed rubber doors as described in Section 083323 of the specifications. 3. Removal and disposal of existing doors. B. Drawings: 1. Refer to Drawing Index on cover sheet of drawing set for complete list of drawings. 1.2 The Contractor shall visit the job site prior to submitting a bid in order to become familiar with the existing conditions and verify the dimensions and details as noted in these construction drawings, Specification and references. No additional compensation shall be allowed for failure to do so. The provisions of 49 CFR Part 26, and 41 CFR Part 60-1, as applicable to Federal grants regarding equal employment practices and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise participation are applied to these procurements.
