Renovation of an educational facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Multi-Purpose Building for Rivermont Elementary School Bids must be received in the Purchasing Department prior to the designated time for opening. Bids received after the designated time of opening will be considered late, considered Non-Responsive and returned unopened to the bidder. BIDS shall be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or BID guarantee bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the BID made payable to Hamilton County Department of Education (Owner), and subject to the conditions provided in the INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDERS. The successful bidder will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The Contractor shall comply with all State, Federal, and Local laws and/or regulations. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularities or reject any or all bids. CONSTRUCTION TIME: Two hundred forty (240) calendar days Liquidated damages will be assessed at Two hundred ($200) Dollars per day for each day project is not Substantially Complete in this time.
