PROJECT 3 - RECONSTRUCT RUNWAY 3-21 AIRFIELD ELECTRICAL SYSTEM Bids for each of the three projects will be publicly opened and read aloud, consecutively. Bid Proposals for these projects will not be received after the deadline for submission. Late bids, late requests for modifications, or late requests for withdrawal will not be considered. The Bowling Green-Warren County Regional Airport intends to engage qualified contractors to perform each of the following three projects: Project 3 - Reconstruct Runway 3-21 Airfield Electrical System: Reconstruction of the airfield electrical systems shall include replacing the high intensity runway lighting (HIRL) system (edge and guidance signs), constant current regulator, segmented circle, rotating beacon, airport primary wind indicator, PAPIs, and REILs. Reference Bid Express(R) Solicitation No. 075662-3. A bid bond or other guarantee payable without condition to the Bowling Green Warren County Regional Airport, in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the bid, shall be submitted with each proposal. A contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder in the best interest of the Bowling Green - Warren County Regional Airport contingent upon receipt of grant funding by the FAA. The awarded contractor will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the sum of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract. The Bowling Green - Warren County Regional Airport reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities or irregularities in the proposals received or to accept any proposal which is deemed most favorable at the time and under the conditions stipulated in the Contract Documents to the extent permitted by law.
