Site work and paving for a road / highway in Limestone Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of September 7, 2023, project was awarded to Russell Standard awarded amount is $99,696.59. Furnish and place approximate 35,728 SY of Asphalt Seal Coat, and 2,667 SY of Surface Treatment Special. Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of each contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Surface Treatment Special This work is an application of Dust Oil prior to placing 1 layer of Type A No. 67 Stone then applying 2 applications of CRS-2PM Oil and Type A No. 8 Stone. Contractor to follow current PUB 408 Section 480 Specifications. Asphalt Seal Coat using CRS-2PM Oil Furnish and place an application of Asphalt Seal Coat across the entire cross-section of roadway. Use CRS2PM emulsified asphalt, immediately followed by an application of coarse aggregate of #8 stone, to be rolled according to pub 408 section 470. Incidental to the above items: Provide verifiable test results that show aggregate is clean, material finer than the 200 sieve does not exceed 1.0 percent; clean roadway prior to placement; provide affidavit showing aggregate and oil compatibility and provide Traffic Control according to Pub. 213.
