Construction of a new pressure reducing valve facility along River Road between the River Road booster pump station and the River Road Interconnection. The valve is needed to provide system redundancy in the southernmost pressure zone on the Eastern Goochland Water System. The project is listed as an identified improvement in the 2020 Utility Master Plan. Funding for design was previously approved in the FY2022 budget. This project is included in the city’s 2025-2029 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of July 24, 2024, project is funded for Construction FY2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
