Site work and paving for a road / highway in Cheney, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes street preservation work on 2nd Street, involving existing asphalt surface preparation (crack sealing, pavement repair areas, asphalt patching), chip seal, and ADA curb ramp upgrades. Additionally, pavement reconstruction will be done on Mike McKeehan Way, which includes existing asphalt removal, preparation of existing gravel base with cement treatment (CTB), HMA paving, and pavement markings. The time for completion of the work on-site is 35 working days. All bids must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a surety bond, postal money order, cash, cashier's check, or certified check in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid proposed. The City of Cheney reserves the right to waive any irregularities or informalities and to reject any or all bids. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. BID IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR CONTRACTORS BOND ELECTION to withhold 50% retainage in lieu of furnishing a Contractors Bond (Performance and Payment Bond). TIME TO COMPLETE: The contract shall be completed in Thirty Five (35) working days from the date of commencement stipulated in a Notice to Proceed. furnish the contractors bond (performance and payment bond) in an amount equal to 100 percent
