The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the supply and installation of concrete paving with custom sandblasted patterning, concrete footings, limestone block seating, planting beds including shrub and tree plantings, stabilized aggregate, supply and installation of custom brackets and lighting at roof eave of existing public washroom and site conduit installed in plaza for future light features. Contract to also include supply and installation of catch basins and land drainage and the installation of a custom raised planter with integrated seating. The major components of the Work are as follows: (a) Removals and site preparation (b) Concrete pavement with custom sandblasted patterning (c) Supply and installation of limestone block seating (d) Supply and installation of bike racks and waste bins (e) Supply and installation of in-ground waste bins and concrete pad (f) Supply and installation of site lighting (custom bracket and linear lighting on roof eave building) (g) Supply and installation of electrical conduit in plaza for future story marker features (h) Planting bed preparation including rain garden and wood mulch as noted (i) Supply and installation of stabilized aggregate paving (j) Supply and installation of structural soil (k) Supply and installation of deciduous trees and shrubs (l) Installation of custom raised planter with integrated seating (Planter supplied by the Downtown Winnipeg BIZ) (m) Supply and installation of land drainage pipe and catch basins Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
