As of July 10, 2025, this project is under construction. *Previous solicitation listed below for reference:* The primary and/or subconsultant firm(s) shall be pre-qualified by the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to perform all of the Discipline Codes listed below for the TOWN OF INDIAN TRAIL. Discipline Codes required are, but not limited to: o 00227 - Stream Mitigation Site Design o 00479 - Tier III Complex Hydraulic Design Services o 00480 - Highway Floodplain Program Support Project will consist of designing the replacement of five (5) large size culvert crossings located in the following locations (see Appendix A: Pipe Culvert Map): 1) Bow Brook Trail (midblock b/w Indian Brook Drive and Indian Wood Drive) 2) Pioneer Lane (470.0 feet east of Pioneer Ln and Pioneer Ln intersection) 3) Moss Cove Court (before cul-de-sac) 4) Swedish Ivy Lane (before cul-de-sac) 5) Spring Morning Lane (before cul-de-sac) It will consist of four (4) streambank restoration areas shown on the "Stream Assessment Area Map" in Appendix B of this RFLOI. The selected firm will also be tasked to provide a design that will assist in the upsizing and rehabilitation of an existing drainage ditch shown on the "Liberty Lane Drainage Map" in Appendix C and may also be requested to provide design of stormwater drainage improvements or best management practices to areas in Town that are identified by our Watershed Management Plan which is currently being finalized. These design services shall be partially reimbursed with Federal-aid funding through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) which was provided to the Town last year. The solicitation, selection, and negotiation of a contract shall be conducted in accordance with all Federal procurement guidelines and requirements. The Town of Indian Trail reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or technicalities as it may deem to be in its best interest.
