Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Surrey, British Columbia. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for site work for a water / sewer project; and municipal facility.
The city is expanding its District Energy System (DES) in the rapidly growing City Centre area. Major components of the project: Component 1 - Boiler upgrades at the WVEC (approximate cost: $6M) Component 2 - Heat pump facility expansion at the WVEC (approximate cost: $25M) Component 3 - Sewage diversion and lift station (approximate cost: $5M) Component 4 - SHR facility (approximate cost: $21M) Component 5 - AT piping (approximate cost: $11M) TIMELINE: Plans are complete. Tender timelines are undetermined. Construction of the project is anticipated to be completed in two phases and ending in Fall 2027. Further update in early 2026, upon approvals.
