Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

Bensalem Township will receive sealed online bids for construction of the Grandview Avenue Drainage Improvements Project via PennBID tm. The scope of work generally includes drainage improvements, full depth pavement reconstruction, curb installation and replacement, and associated work and labor. Bids are to be submitted via PennBIDtm on the forms furnished in the bid package. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bidder's bond, certified check or cashier's check, in favor of Bensalem Township, in the amount of not less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. The successful bidder shall be bound to furnish and pay for a Performance Bond and a Labor & Material Payment Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price, on bond forms provided by Bensalem Township. Question Deadline 08/17/2023 at 5:00 PM ET. The Township reserves the right to reject any and or all bids on any basis and to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities or informalities in the bidding, as permitted by law, and to accept any Bid which it may deem to be for or in the best interest of the Township in its sole and absolute discretion. This contract is in accordance with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and the successful bidder shall pay no less than the Wage Rates determined for the project as stated in the Contract documents.
