Work on which proposals are invited consists of the repair and/or replacement of sidewalks and concrete for the City of Biloxi. Due to the nature of this contract, the exact scope of work is unknown at the time of bidding and may include, but is not limited to new construction, sidewalks, driveways, low traffic concrete streets, curbs and gutters for the City of Biloxi. Work may also include removal and replacement work. No minimum or maximum amount of work is guaranteed. Concrete tasks will be ordered by individual purchase orders which will include drawings, specifications, and administrative details such as period of performance and start date unique to each task. The contract shall end December 31, 2023 for the basic period. The City of Biloxi, at its sole discretion, may extend the contract time by approving up to five (5) separate option periods of up to six (6) months each. If exercised, the first option period shall end June 30, 2024; If exercised, the second shall end December 31, 2024; If exercised, the third shall end June 30, 2025; If exercised, the fourth shall end December 31, 2025; And if exercised, the fifth shall end June 30, 2026. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informality in the proposal accepted. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
