Demolition, renovation and addition to a residential development in Jasper, Tennessee. Working plans call for the addition of a 475-square-foot residential development; for the demolition of a residential development; and for the renovation of a 4,180-square-foot residential development.
**As of August 30, 2023 this project has been cancelled and will be rebid in a future date.** The Project consists of approximately 4,180 sf of renovation and a 475 sf addition. The renovation will include wall demolition, construction of a new restroom, new exterior egress doors, a deck with stairs, and new floor finish throughout the facility. The addition will include 1 classroom with a restroom and deck. The project is being bid as 'base bid' with no alternates. The work will be awarded to one Prime Contract. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, duly executed by the Bidder as principal and having as surety thereon a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee and listed as a certified company in the latest issue of U.S. Treasury Circular 570, in the amount of (5%) five percent of the Bid. Bidders must comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Davis Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 27(a) to (1)7), and Sections 103 and 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act as amended (40 U.S.C. 327 330) Bidders must certify that they do not, and will not, maintain or provide for their employees any facilities that are segregatedon a basis of race, color, creed, or national origin. The Contractor/Subcontractor will comply with 41 CFR 604, in regard to affirmative action, to ensure equal opportunity to females and minorities and will apply the timetable and goals set forth in 41 CFR No bid may be withdrawn within 60 calendar days after the schedules time for receipt of bids. All bidders must be licensed and shall comply with all requirements of the State of Tennessee Contractor's Licensing Act. The Owner will in no way be liable for any costs incurred by any bidder in the preparation of its Bid in response to this Advertisement for Bids. The successful Bidder for the Contract will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100 percent of the Bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive informalities and to re advertise.
