PROJECT DESCRIPTION/SERVICES REQUESTED The Department of Technology, Management and Budget (DTMB) is requesting professional architectural and engineering services for a new storage building adjacent to the existing HAZ MAT Training Facility at the State Secondary Complex. The design of the building shall include site and building design. The subject building design will have approximate overall dimensions of 40 feet by 60 feet. The building height shall allow the entry and exit of a semi- truck tractor/ trailer. An overhead door is desired at each end of the building. The preferred construction is that of 'pole barn' construction with electrical service. The possibility of plumbing shall also be explored as part of this design. The professional services contractor shall provide architectural and engineering services for both design and construction administration. The request is for services in Phase 300 Schematic Design, Phase 400 Preliminary Design, Phase 500 Final Design, Phase 600 Construction Administration/ Office, and Phase 700 Construction Administration/ Field Inspection Services. The professional services shall be done in accordance with the State Construction Code (per 1972 PA 230), Michigan's Barrier Free Law (1966 PA 1), and the Occupational Code (per 1980 PA 299).
