Reference Number 0000326070 The San Diego County Water Authority is soliciting bids for heating, ventilating and air-conditioning (HVAC) system inspection, preventative maintenance, and repairs. All questions relative to this project prior to opening of Bids shall be submitted via the city website as soon as possible, but no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, August 4, 2023. If questions are submitted, the Water Authority may issue an addendum stating the questions and answers. General Requirements - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required The Water Authority reserves the right, after opening bids, to waive any informality in any bid, to reject any or all bids, and to make an award to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder as determined by the Water Authority. A contract may be awarded within ninety (90) days after the bid opening if it is in the best interest of the Water Authority. License: Contractor shall possess a Class "C-20" warm air heating, ventilating and air conditioning license from the State of California at the time the Project is bid, and for the duration of the Contract. Performance and Payment Bonds: A faithful performance bond and a payment bond each in an amount matching 100% of the Contract Maximum Amount shall be required of the successful Bidder within 15 days of notice of award. All bonds shall be furnished by Contractor at its own cost and expense. Water Authority will reimburse the cost of Contractor's bonds at cost, with receipt, not to exceed 2.5% of total contract cost. All bonds shall be executed by such sureties as are admitted to transact surety insurance in the State of California.
