The intent of this quote is to contract for tile and grout restoration and glazing of the kitchen area in the Neshaminy Manor Nursing Facility. A site visit is required. Site Visits must be completed by March 18, 2024. Questions Due Date Online Portal Deadline to submit Questions Mar 20th 2024, 12:00 PM EDT PERFORMANCE BOND with surety in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The Performance Bond shall be conditioned upon the faithful performance of the contract in accordance with the plans, specifications and conditions of the contract. LABOR AND MATERIAL (PAYMENT) BOND with surety in the amount of 100% of the contract amount. The Labor and Material Bond shall be conditioned upon the prompt payment of all material furnished and/or labor supplied in the prosecution of the work. Also required is a MAINTENANCE BOND with surety in the amount of 10% of the contract amount. The Maintenance Bond shall be surety against defective or inferior materials or workmanship which may develop during a period of one year from date of total completion and acceptance of all work performed under the contract The County reserves the right to exercise this option as is deemed proper / necessary. Neshaminy Manor Nursing Facility is a 360 bed Long Term Care facility, licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health. The Kitchen/cafe is open 365 days and provides food services to Residents, Resident Activities, Staff, Inside and Outside Catering, Visitors and Volunteers. The objective is to restore the tile and grout in two areas of the kitchen/cafe as described below. o Vender will Provide Tile and Grout sealer. o Vendor will be responsible for cleaning and prepping of entire surface to remove contaminants and to prepare tile and grout for application of a sealant or coating to protect the tiles and grout. o Vendor will install appropriate protective coating over existing grout. o Vendor will install appropriate protective shield for entire surface. Kitchen Cooks Area: o Tile restoration with Sealer - restorative bonding process utilizing two groups of coatings, one to overlay the grout and another to shield the entire surface in order to restore the tile and grout like-new, prevent soil and moisture penetration, remove foul odors, repel bacteria, mildew, and mold, and simplify maintenance. Kitchen through out: o Kitchen Tile Grout - restorative bonding process for grout joints utilizing specialized protective coating to overlay the existing grout in order to restore grout joints to like-new, protect against soil and moisture penetration, remove foul odors, repel bacteria, mildew, and mold, and simplify maintenance.
