Renovation of a municipal facility in Gunnison, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

We are pleased to invite your company to submit a proposal for the installation of solar arrays on a housing development project located at 402-412 South 14th Street, Gunnison, Colorado. The project aims to promote sustainability, reduce carbon emissions, and reduce costs for residents. Project Overview: The housing development project consists of 12 roof-mounted solar arrays, each with an approximate capacity of 5kW, as well as 6 cantilevered canopy solar arrays, each with an approximate capacity of 2kW. The roofs are 2/12 slope and built with 26 guage standing seam metal roofs with a 2 1/2 " tall rib at 16" o.c. The solar contractor is responsible for providing solar mounting clamps to the standing seam roof, rails, and any other mounting equipment required. A conduit pathway is provided from the roof to a junction box where the inverted will be located and from the inverter location to the main panel. The solar contractor will be responsible for making the final penetration through the roof and ensuring a water tight finish. Panel space for breakers is provided. The cantilevered arrays will mount to metal braces that are designed for appox. 65" long panels at a 45-degree angle. The braces will be placed at 48"o.c. the solar contractor is responsible for providing mounting rails to span the braces. Conduit will be surface mounted from the array to the inverter location. A pathway is provided from the inverter to the main panel and breaker space is available in the panel. These solar arrays will collectively provide a significant portion of the electricity needed to power the housing units, contributing to the reduction of reliance on non-renewable energy sources. Scope of Work: The selected solar provider will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Design: Create detailed plans for the placement and configuration of the solar arrays on the housing development rooftops and canopies, ensuring optimal energy production and aesthetics. Plans for the 2. Installation: Safely and efficiently install all 12 roof-mounted solar arrays and 6 cantilevered canopy solar arrays in compliance with local building codes and safety standards. 3. Electrical Connection to main panel and utility interconnection requirements. 4. Monitoring System: Monitoring system must be capable of web-based monitoring, error tracking, real time and recorded production data logging and energy demand data logging. 5. Warranty and Maintenance: Min. 1 year warranty on installation, 25-year performance warranty on panels, and 10-year warranty on inverters. Proposal Submission: Interested parties are requested to submit a comprehensive proposal addressing the following key points: 1. Company Profile: Provide an overview of your company, including relevant experience in solar installation projects and any certifications or affiliations related to renewable energy. 2. Project Approach: Outline your proposed approach to designing, installing, and connecting the solar arrays in line with the project's requirements. 3. Technical Specifications: Present the technical details of the solar arrays, including specified components, and expected energy production. 4. Project Timeline: Offer a detailed project timeline, highlighting key milestones and completion dates. 5. Cost: Provide a transparent and itemized cost proposal for the entire project, including equipment, labor, and any additional expenses. 6. References: Include references from previous clients or solar projects to demonstrate your company's track record of successful installations. Selection Process: Proposals will be evaluated based on technical expertise, experience, cost-effectiveness, and the overall quality of the proposed solution. The County reserves the right to consider alternatives, to waive irregularities and to re-solicit proposals on both an individual and general basis. The County has the final selection authority.
