Reference Number 0000252696 Question Acceptance Deadline 03-Aug-2023 01:30:00 PM EDT The assignment includes a thorough visual and non-destructive testing of high mast poles in Niagara. The service provider will generate engineering reports, document the condition, fatigue life of the inspected high mast poles, including recommendations. The scope of work includes all work necessary to deliver this Assignment as described in the RFQ Documents. The Service Provider shall plan, design and construct all work in conformance with Ministry of Transportation standards, criteria and requirements any area directives or specifications, and the Technical Standards and Specifications (Appendix 2). As well, when providing services under this Agreement, the Service Provider shall comply with all applicable legislation, regulatory standards, industry best management practices, and other guidelines and procedures relevant to conduct the work. The Service Provider shall also consult any existing applicable MTO guidance documents as appropriate. In the event of any conflict or inconsistency between documents, documents with the most recent dates shall prevail. A thorough visual and non-destructive testing of the pole is required to assess condition of the high mast poles. This testing is to cover the following areas: Foundation Concrete Anchorage Assembly Pole, Head Frame and Ring Assembly (including steel components) Coating Support cables/raising and lowering device Non-destructive testing Anchor rods Longitudinal seam welds Base-plate welds Welds on other pole components Anticipated Project Start Date September 21, 2023 Official bid documents must be obtained from www.raqsesp.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
