The Town of Shrewsbury reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof. The Town through its Town Manager shall have the right to terminate this agreement by giving notice to the Contractor of such termination and specifying the date thereof at any time. Notification by the Town shall be written and made by registered mail or email. This contract is subject to in-person school learning in each specified building. The Town will pay a 3 hour minimum for all scheduled work. Cleaning materials and equipment will be supplied by the Town. All hand towels, toilet tissue, hand soap, wastebasket liners and sanitary dispenser liners shall be supplied by the Town. The Contractor shall provide custodians as needed and scheduled between the contractor and the Public Buildings Division Manager. These persons shall perform day porter and general cleaning duties, as designated by the Public Buildings Division Manager or designee. All persons must be employees of the contractor. The contractor must be able to fill a vacancy within 3 hours of being notified. It is the Town’s position that as much notice as possible be given to the contractor. In accordance with MGL. Ch. 30B , the bid will be awarded to the responsive and responsible bidder with the lowest overall price.
