**As of September 7, 2023, project was awarded to Lister Construction Inc, awarded amount is $2,201,146.17.** General work description: Safety and mobility improvements in the Vallejo area on Benicia Road and the Suisun Valley region. Suisun Valley improvements include the installation of concrete flat work, other pedestrian facilities, guardrail, signage, and striping. Benicia Road improvements include the installation of concrete curb & gutter, sidewalk, landscaping, micro surfacing, and signage & striping. Bids must be on a unit price basis. Work must be completed within NINETY-NINE working days. This project is expected to have temperature sensitive work that will not be completed in the fall. Some working day suspension due to weather should be anticipated. The estimated cost of the project is $2,030,000. There is no DBE requirement for this project. Submit your bid with bidder's security equal to at least 10 % of the bid. The successful bidder shall furnish a payment bond and a performance bond. The County reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Contractor shall possess a valid business license. Prevailing wages are required on this contract. The Director of the California Department of Industrial Relations determines the general prevailing wage rates.
