Description: Maine Federal Ai d Project No. 2530100 WI N 025301.00 Location: In Kennebec County, Pearl Harbor Remembrance bridge is located over the Kennebec Rive r approximately 0.11 o f a mile west o f State Route 126. Scope of Work: Pearl Harbor Remembrance bridge wearing surface replacement plus other incidental work. Questions received after 12:00 noon o f Monday (or i f that Monday is a state holiday, Friday) prior to bid date will not be answered. Bidders shall not contact any other Departmental staff for clarification o f Contract provisions, and the Department wil l not be responsible for any interpretations so obtained. Each Bi d must be made upon blank forms provided by the Department and must be accompanied by a bid bond at 5 % o f the bid amount or an official bank check, cashier's check, certified check, certificate of deposit, or United States postal money order in the amount o f 5% of the bid amount, payable to Treasurer, State of Maine as a Bid guarantee. A Contract Performance Surety Bond and a Contract Payment Surety Bond, each in the amount o f 100 percent of the Contract price, will be required o f the successful Bidder. This Contract is subject to all applicable Federal Laws. This contract is subject to compliance with the Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program requirements as set forth by the Maine Department of Transportation.
