Fabrication, Supply and Delivery of 66 uncoated steel pipe piles for Tsawwassen Breakwater Life Extension project. The project is required to life extend the North and South Breakwaters to maintain the structural integrity and ensure continued safe operations. The project scope includes installation of piles that forms part of a design to reinforce the breakwater steel cells in the intertidal and splash zones. BC Ferries provides frequent year-round ferry transportation services to the West Coast of Canada on 25 routes, supported by 36 vessels and 47 terminals, and also manages other remote routes through contracts with independent operators. BC Ferries is their vital sea link between the British Columbia mainland, Vancouver Island and the smaller islands dotted along the coast of Canada's most westerly province. BC Ferries' fleet ranges in size up to the "S" class vessels, which have a rated capacity of 470 cars and 2,100 passengers. As one of the largest ferry operators in the world based on passengers transported annually and transportation infrastructure, BC Ferries carries more than 22 million passengers and 8 million vehicles annually and employs more than 3,000 British Columbians.
