A Bid Bond or a Cashiers Check in the Amount of 5% of the Amount Bid Must Be Received by the City of Plano Purchasing Division. The successful bidder must furnish a performance bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred fifteen percent (115%) of the contract price. Successful bidder must also provide a material and labor payment bond, on the form provided, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. This project has 70 working days allowed for TOTAL completion The amount for liquidated damages is anticipated to be $500.00 for each day work remains incomplete after the time specified. The City reserves the right to waive any minor defect, irregularity, or informality in any bid. The City may also reject any or all bids without cause prior to award.
