Site work and paving for a civil project in Waxhaw, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project will be bid under a formal bid process. A minimum of 3 bids will be required to be received by the Town of Waxhaw. Bids will be received on a unit price and lump sum cost basis. The Contractor and all Subcontractors shall comply with the Department of Labor Safety and Health Regulations for construction promulgated under the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970 (PL91- 596) and under Section 107 of the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act (PL91-54), or latest revisions. The Town reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids, and will award to lowest responsive and responsible Bidder taking into consideration quality, performance, and time specified in Bid Form for performance of Work. Owner also reserves the right to waive informalities.
