Site work for a mixed-use development in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The work includes removing all electrical equipment from the existing equipment rack. The main disconnect and pump controller shall be removed complete back to source. The irrigation controllers for the turf fields and natural turf shall be saved for reinstallation. The main disconnect shall be replaced with a 200-amp 3 pole enclosed circuit breaker and shall be fed with new wire in the existing conduit from panel MDP. The pump controller shall be replaced with a new 100HP solid state motor starter in a NEMA 4XSS enclosure and shall be fed with new wire in the existing conduit from the irrigation pump. All control wiring and conduits for the turf fields shall be replaced in their entirety. Prior to reinstalling equipment, the existing equipment rack shall be primed and painted with a corrosion resistant high-performance coating. The pump shall be removed, rebuilt, and reinstalled. The backflow preventer enclosure and the pump enclosure shall be removed and replaced. Each of the (4) zone valves shall be removed and replaced. The existing synthetic turf field sprinklers shall be adjusted to evenly distribute water over the field.
