Zone 7 is one of ten active zones of the Alameda County Flood Control and Water Conservation District and is a special district governed by its own independently elected board. Zone 7 provides drinking water to about 280,000 customers within a service area of approximately 425 square miles in eastern Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Drinking water is supplied to four retailers: California Water Service Company, City of Livermore, City of Pleasanton, and Dublin San Ramon Services District. Questions on the RFP are due by 3 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2023. Questions or comments regarding this RFP can be submitted by to Tom Rooze via email at trooze@zone7water.com or by phone at (925) 454-5069 Selection of a firm or firms is expected to result in a Professional Services Agreement for hydrogeologic consulting and groundwater modeling services that will begin on the date it is signed by the Zone 7 General Manager, which is expected to be in October 2023. Zone 7 desires that this project be completed by October 31, 2024, but realizes that this may put time constraints on completion of the project. Therefore, some of the tasks are listed as optional and may not be completed at Zone 7's discretion based on funding and schedule restraints. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
