Renovation of a military facility in Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,400-square-foot military facility.
The 49th LRS at Holloman AFB, NM, is seeking the removal and disposal of existing carpet, preparation and installation of Laminate Vinyl Tile (LVT) into building 702, 2400 sq ft total. Quotes must be in accordance with the 'Statement of Work' at Attachment 1. Notice to Offeror(s)/Supplier(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. All quotes must meet criteria in Attachements. There will be a held at 9:00 A.M. Mountain Time on 09 August 2023. All interested parties will meet at the Holloman AFB Visitor's Center at the appointed time. A Background Consent Form will be required for installation access for all offerors that do not already possess the necessary access. Upon written request to the Contracting Officer, the Background Consent Form will be provided. Questions Questions generated for this solicitation shall be submitted to the Point(s)-of-Contact (POC) identified below not-later-than 12:00 P.M. Mountain Time on 16 August 2023. Cody B. All of the furniture in the work area will be removed by others prior to the start of work. The rooms will be completely empty. 3. The work will be completed in two phases. All work shall be completed on the first phase before starting work on the second phase. There may be a delay of a day or two between phases. The exact phasing sequence will be determined just before work begins. 4. An approximate floor plan of Bldg 702 is attached. The total interior floor area is about 2,520 SF. The approximate room sizes are listed below. o Room 1: 13' x 15' = 195 SF. o Room 2: 13' x 15' = 195 SF. o Room 3: 11' x 15' = 165 SF. o Room 4: 16' x 20' = 320 SF. o Room 5: 16' x 20' = 320 SF. o Room 6: 11' x 15' = 165 SF. o Room 7: 32' x 15' = 480 SF o Room 8: 12' x 15' = 180 SF. o Room 9: 10' x 50' = 500 SF. 5. There is existing ceramic floor tile in the hallway, Room 9. There is also a 170 SF area of Room 7 that has VCT. All the other rooms have carpet. The existing wall base is wood. 6. Remove and dispose all of the existing carpet, floor tile, and wall base in work area. The floor slab is concrete. 7. Clean, prepare, and level the floors and walls as required after demolition operations are complete. Repair any damage to the walls that may occur during the wall base demolition. 8. Install new Luxury Vinyl Planks (LVP) throughout the work area. Use SPC Rigid Core. The LVP shall be designed for high-traffic commercial use. The wear layer shall be at least 20-mils thick. 9. Install new 4" high vinyl wall base around the perimeter of the all the rooms in the work area. 10. Deliver 20 replacement LVP planks to Bldg 700. 11. All work shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions. 12. The Contractor will be allowed to park storage trailers and equipment on .
