As of September 15, 2023, the project was awarded to NU-WAVE INNOVATIONS LLC, with an awarded amount of $150,656.08 Upgrade lighting to LED lighting suitable for the application. The contractor must field verify power available. The contractor must provide LED lighting that works with existing power. There are 6 locations that we are requesting individual proposals for: Gadsden Park, San Luis Justice of the Peace, Health Department, Juvenile Detention Center, Department of Developmental Services, and Tacna Park. The proposal must make and model of equipment to be installed. The equipment should mount on existing structural supports. The contractor is responsible for mounting hardware. The contractor is responsible for removing existing lighting fixtures and delivering them to 2725 S. Ave. B, Yuma, AZ. The selection will be based on cost and equipment provided in the proposal. Yuma County reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals or waive any informality in a Proposal. No submitter may withdraw his Proposal for a period of fifty (50) days after opening and reading of the Proposals. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or Proposal bond, with a properly executed Power of Attorney attached, in an amount equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the proposal payable without condition to the County. The proposal guarantee shall guarantee that the Proposer, if awarded the contract, will, within ten (10) working days after the award, execute such contract in accordance with the proposal and in manner and form required by the contract documents, and will furnish good and sufficient bond for the faithful performance of the same, a payment bond and a certificate of insurance. The Proposal securities of the three (3) lowest Submitters will be retained until the contract is awarded, or other disposition made thereof at which point all but the selected Submitter's securities will be returned. The Proposal securities of all Submitters, except the three (3) lowest, will be returned promptly after the canvass of Proposals. In the event the Contractor fails, within ten (10) working days after the award, to execute said Contract and deliver the Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds and the Certificate of Insurance, the Proposal Security shall become the property of the County. Upon receipt of notice of the acceptance of this Proposal, we will execute the formal contract attached within ten (10) days, and will deliver a one hundred percent (100%) Performance Bond for the faithful performance of this Contract, together with a one hundred percent (100%) Payment Bond and Certificate of Insurance.
