Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
The scope of work is defined comprehensively in the Construction Plans and Specifications issued for bid, which are incorporated into this RFP as Appendices G and H, respectively. In general terms, the Project includes, but is not limited to, the following construction activities Removal of the existing expansion joint; Full depth removal of portions of the existing concrete deck and backwall; Reconstruction of the deck slab with a deck over backwall configuration; Modifications to the existing approach slab; Construction of an asphaltic bridge joint; Modification of the longitudinal joint between the north and south portions of the structure; Restoration of all impacted areas to original conditions; Setup and removal of temporary traffic controls and detour route; The location of the proposed construction activity (the Project) is shown on the Construction Plans Issued for Bid included in this RFP as Appendix G.
