Reference Number 0000326236 *The objective of this project is to enhance the park's aesthetic by removing the deteriorated wood fence identified herein and replacing it with new four-foot high decorative lodgepole fencing. The new fencing shall consist of two rail pressure-treated round lodgepole fence posts and fence rails.* Canyon Country Park originally built in 1989 is located at 17615 West Soledad Canyon Road, in Canyon Country CA 91387. The park is constructed on hilly terrain and consists of multiple levels. The fencing to be replaced, approximately 1500 linear feet, is located throughout the park along turf areas & slopes, and is mostly accessible via the walking paths. The existing fencing is comprised of four-foot high wooden pressure treated four-by-six posts and eight-foot long twoby-six rails. Approximately every other post is embedded in a concrete footer. This project is comprised of six sections of fencing within the park. The six sections are described as follows: Starting from the eastside of main parking lot along the southern end of turf area; 334 feet Continuing along the walkway uphill; 246 feet Continuing along the walkway switchback; 76 feet Proceeding along the slope, continuing along the eastern side of walkway; 225 feet Starting along the switchback continuing along the eastern side of walkway; 346 feet Across from the upper level playground, along the southern side of the walkway; 267 feet.
