Renovation of a municipal facility in Albany, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of March 6, 2024, the project has been awarded, however, a timeline for construction has not been confirmed. This Item describes the Public Work Enforcement Fund (the Fund, PWEF) and its relevance to State agencies and public benefit corporations engaged in construction or reconstruction contracts, maintenance and repair, and announces the recently-enacted increase to the percentage of the dollar value of such contracts that must be deposited into the Fund. This item also describes the roles of the following entities with respect to the Fund: - New York State Department of Labor (DOL), - The Office of the State of Comptroller (OSC), and - State agencies and public benefit corporations. Estimated Cost $3,000,000 - $4,000,000 SDVOB Goal 6% Contractor shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total Contract price For all other questions, please send an email to DCPlans@ogs.ny.gov, or call (518) 474-0203 The substantial completion date for this project is 451 days after the Agreement is approved by the Comptroller
