Renovation of a municipal facility in American Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project consists of installing prefabricated wood frame trusses, a standing seam metal roof, insulation, and metal siding on an existing, low-slope roof to improve drainage. Four (4) louvered ventilation openings will also be installed by saw cutting openings through the existing 8-inch thick CMU walls. Awnings will be installed over the doorways. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid is required if total bid is equal to or greater than $50,000. A Public Works Contractors License for the State of Idaho is required of the successful bidder at the time of bid opening if total bid is equal to or greater than $50,000. Include names and Public Works License number on Sub-Contractor List as part of bid. In the event that the Contractor shall fail to complete the work within the time limit or the extended time limit agreed upon, as more particularly set forth in the Contract Documents, liquidated damages shall be paid at the rate of $200.00 per day. Sundays and legal holidays shall be excluded in determining days in default. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Proposals, and to waive any informalities and irregularities in said Proposals.
