The City of Sacramento, Department of Utilities is requesting the submittal of Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from Contractors for the purpose of establishing Agreements with qualified on-call Contractors to provide cleaning and inspection of large diameter pipes for the separated wastewater, combined wastewater, and/or storm drainage collection systems using a variety of cleaning and inspection technologies. System pipes will include large-diameter wastewater and storm drainage pipes (36-inches in diameter and larger), including both gravity and force mains, and small and large-diameter pipes in or near a levee. Task work for other pipe cleaning and inspection, regardless of pipe size, may be issued at the City's discretion. Using the selection process discussed herein, the City anticipates entering into Agreements with multiple Contractors deemed to be the most qualified under this RFQ. Entering into an Agreement with the City does not guarantee that any task and/or project assignment will be made. Interested contractors are invited to submit their qualification statements in accordance with the requirements of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Contractors may submit information in the SOQ for one or both of the areas of expertise. Contractors must have knowledge and experience in at least one area of expertise to be considered for qualification.
