The Work generally consists of the installation of approximately 325 linear feet of a 1-1/2" water service for 109 Little Meadow Road, Haddam, CT, including Horizontal Directional Drilling for approximately 240 linear feet; abandonment of an existing drinking water well, removal and disposal of existing drinking water treatment systems, and restoration of all disturbed areas. The installation of water mains and utility side services shall be complete 90 calendar days from the date set in the Notice to Proceed. All components of the project including work on private properties shall be fully complete 120 calendar days from the date set in the Notice to Proceed. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the bid. The selected contractor shall furnish a performance bond and a payment bond in amount at least equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The selected contractor shall comply with the requirements of Prevailing Wage Rate Laws The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in bids and to reject any or all bids.
