Renovation of a municipal facility in Gainesville, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of November 6, 2023, project was awarded but awarded amount is not available. Provide removal and replacement of the existing carpet on the 4th floor of the City Hall building in accordance with the specifications Remove existing flooring and remove and replace reusable snap on base in the areas shown on the floor plan. Remove and legally dispose of old flooring and old glued on vinyl base off site snap on base will be replaced back on after flooring work. Disposal dumpster is provided by this vendor. City dumpsters cannot be used. Provide sub floor prep and leveling as needed and required for new product installation. Install new flooring and base in areas shown on the drawing. This contractor will remove and replace all office furnishings in the work areas back in the original positions after floor and base is replaced (personal office desk items will be removed by city employees). Vendor to include equipment, labor, materials and fasteners, temporary protection, job access, hoisting and lifts where required for the work. Questions submittal deadline is October 6, 2023. The City of Gainesville reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, reserves the right to waive any or all irregularities, and to award the contract to the lowest, responsive and responsible Bidder whose bid is determined by the City to be in its best interest.
