Site work for a water / sewer project in Hampton, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project or Work consists of rehabilitation of approximately 7,450 linear feet of 10-inch to 24-inch sanitary sewer gravity main by means of cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) liner, approximately 1,200 linear feet of 4-inch and 6-inch sanitary sewer service lateral rehabilitation and/or replacement, rehabilitation of 43 sanitary manholes, replacement of 55 linear feet of 8-inch sanitary sewer force main with ductile iron pipe, two (2) point repairs and placement of one (1) new 60-inch diameter polymer manhole structure. Contractor registration in accordance with Title 2.2, Chapter 43 and Title 54.1, Chapter 11, Code of Virginia is required. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid Procedures for submitting a Bid, claiming an error, withdrawing of Bids and other pertinent information are contained in the Instructions to Bidders. HRSD reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive any informalities, or negotiate with the low bidder as described in the Instructions to Bidders.
