As of September 13,2023, there were no bids received. No definite date for the rebid. The Project generally consists of the renovation of a 1941 train car, located at the Monterey Depot Museum for historical educational uses. The initial project involves demolition and preparation of the train car for further renovation. The project requires demolition and removal of existing windows, flooring, toilets, and kitchenette vanity, and insulation and sealing of train car in preparation for additional renovation projects which will be released in projects to be announced later. This project will not have a pre-bid meeting, but inspection of the train car is possible upon request.
