The Town of Swepsonville is requesting qualified professional engineering firms to submit a statement of qualifications to provide engineering and administration services for the Town's Asset Inventory and Assessments Grant from NCDEQ-Division of Water Infrastructure. The Town provides both water and sewer services to roughly 1,200 accounts (residential and commercial). The distribution system consists of 19.1 miles and varies in size, age, and material. There are 13 miles of gravity sanitary sewer line that drains into four pump stations: Laurelton, Autumn Trace, Quarry Hills and Virginia Mills. Laurelton, Autumn Trace, and Quarry Hills all drain to the Virginia Mills Pump Station. To fund the work, the Town will be using AIA funds recently from the NCDEQ Division of Water Infrastructure ($250,000 Water and $150,000 Sewer).
