Site work for a water / sewer project in Spirit Lake, Idaho. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The new Well #6 construction project will include drilling an additional 16- to 18-inch well to a depth of approximately 600 feet on an existing City-owned utility lot in the northeasterly portion of town, purchase and installation of a well pump with associated piping and electric, and connection to the existing infrastructure at the site (well #5 and reservoir #3). The Well #6 project will address existing capacity issues and reduce the risk of depressurization and overall system contamination by providing improved redundancy, fire flow capacity, and reliability for the system users in the area. As of November 10, 2023, this project is in the design phase. An engineer has been selected for the project. Information regarding the general contractor selection timeline has not been disclosed.
