**As of September 8 ,2023 project was awarded to CGS Contractors , awarded amount is $124,329.21.** This work project includes renovations of the 1st and 3rd base dugouts with an additional storage building construction, and other concrete improvements to facility. The work to be performed in the project includes the Renovations and Construction of Dugouts and Storage facilities. The term of Agreement(s) resulting from this solicitation can be found in the Statement of Work Any questions regarding bids that may arise from this proposal should be submitted, via email and should be directed to Kim Whatley, Facilities and Operations Manager, kim.whatley@decaturga.com no later than August 14th, 2023, by 3:00PM. No proposal will be considered unless accompanied by a Bid Security as defined in the Notice to Bidders, as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute an Agreement and file bonds and insurance as required by the Contract Documents within ten (10) days from the date of the award of the contract. All bid securities will be held until the agreement has been executed by the successful bidder and the required bonds and insurance has been filed with the Owner, after which bid securities will be returned to the respective bidders. The bid security will be in the form of a bond or certified check in the amount equal to or greater than 5% of the proposed total bid amount As a part of the execution of this Contract, the Contractor shall furnish to the Owner a bond payable to the Owner in the form of Faithful Performance Bond, secured by a surety company acceptable to the Owner, conditioned upon the faithful performance of all covenants and stipulations under this contract, specifically including, but not limited to, the performance of the warranty set forth in Section 3 below. The amount of the bond shall be not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount, as this sum is set forth in the Agreement.
