25 Bruce Street, Welland is a single-storey institutional construction facility, owned by The Region and occupied by the Welland Regional Child Care Centre. The building includes preschool and children's activity/sleeping rooms, kitchen, office, washrooms, janitorial (mechanical/electrical) room, multiple storage rooms and support staff rooms. The building was originally constructed in 1972 with a major HVAC upgrade in 2005. The total existing building footprint area is approximately 5,217 Sq-Ft. To ensure Accessibility compliance, the building requires Visual and Audible Fire alarm devices throughout the facility to comply with OBC and Regional Accessibility Requirements. This RFQ is being issued to all of the Successful Roster Listing developed from Contract 2022-RFPQ-107 specifically Category 1 (General Contractors), and 3 (Electrical Contractors).
