Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Dothan, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.
The Houston County Commission will receive sealed proposals for Houston County Homeland Security Warehouse Building (SH-0855). A cashier's check or bid bond payable to the Houston County Commission equal to 5% of the total bid, but not more than $10,000, must accompany the bid proposal. Performance bonds, payment bonds and evidence of insurance will be required at the signing of the contract. Bid Documents may be obtained from the Engineer upon deposit of $100.00 per set (hard copy) or $50.00 electronically, which will be refunded in full on the first set issued to each general contract bidder submitting a bonafide bid, upon return of documents in good condition within ten days of bid date. Other sets for general contractors, and sets for subcontractors and dealers, may be obtained with the same deposit, which will be refunded as above, less cost of printing, reproduction, handling and distribution.
