Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Millersville, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility; road / highway; and for paving for a educational facility.
Solicitation Summary Wor- Wic Community College invites bids for restoring the asphalt pavement on Horse bridge Drive. The work will entail pulverizing the existing road and overlaying the compacted surface with hot mix asphalt. Core drill samples shall be taken at 100' linear intervals to predetermine the depth of the existing asphalt and the base material. Specifications and a map indicating the limits of disturbance are included in Exhibits A, B, and C. The contractor shall verify the accuracy of their measurements and limits of disturbance prior to submitting a bid. The college's estimate is approximately 22,000 SF. The project must be completed prior to June 30, 2024 August 11, 2023 Deadline to submit questions to online Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total price, on the attached Performance and Payment Bond forms. These bonds must be provided at the time of the contract and prior to the start of any work. The bond must be in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the price proposal and shall be in the form specified Wor-Wic Community College reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part, or to waive any technicality it deems in the best interests of the College.
