Site work for a water / sewer project in Huntington Station, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The purpose of this project is to install approximately 2,400 LF of new C.L.D.I. water main and appurtenances including new valves, fire hydrants, and water services to provide potable water to the proposed Equestrian Estates of Melville subdivision. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the South Huntington Water District, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any informalities and to accept such bid which, in the opinion of the Owner, is in the best interests of the Owner.
