Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Painted Post, New York. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The project generally consists of constructing a wood post frame Two-Unit Aircraft Hangar approximately 102 feet by 48 feet, with two electrically operated 50x14 foot bifold doors, concrete floor, sheet metal siding and roofing, electrical service, lighting and minor site work . The project will be bid as a lump sum price contract. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the level indicated in the Contract Documents. The project is sales tax exempt. All bids must be accompanied by a security deposit in the amount of FIVE PERCENT (5%) of the amount of the base bid in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. No bidder may withdraw their bid within one hundred twenty (120) days after the date of opening, but may withdraw it any time prior to the scheduled closing time for reception of bids.
