The Smoky River Regional Water Management Commission (SRRWMC) would like to upgrade the water treatment plant in the Town of Fahler to address immediate repairs required. The SRRWMC Clarifier Internals Repair Project includes the supply of newly manufactured clarifier internals equipment, the implementation of a temporary clarifier to maintain functionality of the water plant during the installation period and the selection of a mechanical contractor to complete the installation work. The intent of the RFP is to obtain offers for supply, design, fabrication, shipment, onsite integration, and commissioning of packaged clarifier internal components, including pre-fabricated equipment or integration of existing equipment, instrumentation, programmable logic control, programming, wiring, electrical panels and junction boxes, starters, VFDs, and all other ancillary support systems for standalone functionality of the equipment. The Owner intends to enter into an Equipment Supply Contract Agreement with the successful Proponent. The Owner also intends to Novate the Equipment Supply Contract (Contract 1) to a General Construction Contractor (Contract 2) through a Novation Agreement. The Equipment Supply Contract includes provisions for the Owner to cancel the equipment supply contract in the event sufficient funding for the project is not approved. The Proponent's submitted proposal will form part of the agreement. The Hamlet of Ridgevalley sanitary sewer system consists of a combination of sanitary sewer forcemain and gravity sewer mains connected via sanitary sewer manholes. The intent of the RFQ is to obtain quotations for: Relining the existing sanitary sewer lift station wet well Relining 20 existing sanitary sewer manholes.
