Saving Project...

Renovation of a detention facility in Huntsville, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.

This project is to efficiently upgrade the HVAC system for building 12 to include the refurbishment of six (6) air handling units along with the replacement of chilled water coils and gas heat exchangers, as well as the fan, valves, and controls. The system will be tested and balanced after the refurbishment is completed. Contractor must be bondable and insurable at the levels required. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Deposit in the amount of 5% of greatest amount bid. Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required upon award of a contract. The TDCJ reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality or irregularity.
