As of Sept 8, 2023 the project was awarded to Hodges Construction for $1,202,489.20. Description: The total Contract Time shall not exceed 120 consecutive calendar days. Bids are related to the construction of roadway improvements to include the widening of approximately an 1800 LF section of Endville Road from a two-lane to three-lane section with curb & gutter, approximately 580 LF of two lane section with new curb & gutter and proposed intersection improvements at Country wood Rd. and Walsh Rd. Related improvements shall include earthwork/ grading, drainage pipe & inlet installation, curb & gutter, cold milling, asphalt pavement, traffic striping and related improvements to complete the project in accordance with the Contract Documents. All work shall be performed on public rights-ofway/easements within the City of Tupelo and shall be provided by the contractor as specified in the Contract Documents as directed by the City of Tupelo Department of Public Works and Engineering representative. The Project shall make provisions for all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required to provide the improvements as defined in the Proposal document and as represented in the General Conditions of Work, Project Drawings and Technical Specifications.
