As of September 29, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Duration of the project is 730 calendar days. Brief Description: Abatement of hazardous material; repair and replacement of interior/exterior windows and doors; upgrades to roof fall protection, electrical distribution system, fire protection system, building automation/management systems, HVAC system, and interior finishes; and removal of abandoned HVAC and life safety equipment. This renovation project will incorporate minimum AntiTerrorism and Force Protection requirements and bring building to current standards. This building is approximately 379,300 square feet and was originally construction in 1954. The facility is mission critical to the Installation and will remain occupied and operational throughout the period of performance for the construction contract. A phasing plan has been developed and incorporated into the drawings and specifications for this project to allow construction activity to occur while minimizing impacts to mission critical operations in the facility. The construction contractor will be required to coordinate the implementation of the phasing plan with the Government.
