Site work and paving for a road / highway in Anderson, South Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

As of December 18, 2023, construction anticipated Spring 2024. The South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) proposes to improve the intersection of US 29 and Bowlan Road (S-4-146) and Old Williamston Road (S-4-331) near the Jockey Lot Flea Market in Anderson County. The existing intersections are problematic due to the confluence of roads intersecting closely together leading to driver confusion. The Anderson Jockey Lot is self-described as "the South`s Biggest and World`s Best Flea Market!" Unfortunately, because of this success the intersection is operationally problematic at peak times due to the amount of traffic visiting the Flea Market. The proposed plan would improve operational efficiency and safety, reduce redundant movements by reducing the number of intersections and consolidating driveways. The US 29 and Old Williamston Road intersection will be relocated South of its current location and will be controlled by a signal. A roundabout will be constructed at the intersection of Bowlan Road and Old Williamston Road as a part of this project.
